Just can't get keyboard emulation to work.

Featured Replies

Ok.I am trying to get keyboard emulation to work with the3 LDS 767. Specifically with the overhead panel.I have spent a lot of time researching, and building, etc.I have purhchased an LED64 and 0x16x16 from Phidget and now GammaRay input from Beta Innovations to try and get something out of (i.e. into) the LDS. I chose the beta innovations board as it offered 256 inputs over the 72 from the hagstrom encoder. While 'some' of the offsets used by FSUIPC and Project magenta are available, most are not. And it seems that the keyboard emulation hardware isn't able to be accepted by the LDS system.I can use all keyboard mapping into other planes, including the default MS ones, but not the LDS767.I am stumped. Has anyone been able to use keyboard emulation with this plane? I know Nico used the Aerosoft MCP and was able to do it, but that could be connecting differently (i.e. through the mcp dll), than a keyboard encoder.Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.RegardsChris G

Going to post my solution here, just in case anyone else has this issue.I ended up going through WideFS, which allows a remote computer to send keystrokes to FS, which appear as a virtual joystick button in FSUIPC, and can be mapped to any keystrokes which can be read by LDS.Thanks for everyones help on this.CheersChris G.
