Hi All,There is now a fully revamped Eastern B727-200 texture set available on my site. The textures available have some extensive detail added to the entire aircraft. Very nice. Looks like it came right off the production paint line. Does any one apply exhaust stains? Does any one do "slightly weathered" versions? Eastern especially needs some weathered aircraft to depict the last days of operations. Just a different view.Bob

Did Eastern really have those bright purplish colours at some point, Garry?I have a friend whose Dad flew with Eastern for 34 years; everything from the DC-3 that is the star exhibit in the Washington Air and Space Museum (hanging from the ceiling!) to the 747-121 loaner from Pan Am - what a career - and for his Christmas present last year, I collected up for him every Eastern aircraft he had ever flown, with panels and sound. I had to repaint a couple especially for him (no one else had done the 747-121 at that time, although it's out now) and I never came across those colours.Enlighten me?Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontP.S. Hi,The colours for the stripes came from an image download from airliners.net Highly likely that there could be colour distortion. Welcome some input on real colours and I can change them quite rapidly.Garry

Hi Garry,Thanks for the information on the 3 Dirty Ladies. Very nice job on them.Recalling from my HO model railroad days with an airbrush, to get the weathered look done correctly took significantly more time and skill then the new production paint. I guess that is probably why we see only a limited number of dirty ladies available. The weathered look seperates the production spray painter from the artist/craftsman. We "belonged" in the production spray painter group. Got real good at production painting from all of the restarts following goofed weathering. ;-)Be sure and share some more weathered (dirty Ladies) 727 when you have time.Bob
