August 17, 200223 yr Hi guys,If there's a good Aircraft.cfg guru around here, then I want you to add a "Fire F@rt" (actually the default FS2002 engine fire effect) to the Nimbus 2003 Flying Broomstick, by Shigeru Tanaka. After you download the thing.... See the guy flying the broomstick? I want someone to add an engine fire effect positioned right at the guys a$$, so that it would simulate a "Fire F@rt" effect which can be turned on & off by pressing the I key. I'm sure that this would be an easy task for some of you, so whoever can add this fire f@rt effect to the Nimbus 2003, please send the edited Aircraft.cfg file to [email protected] reason that I want this fire f@rt effect to be added in the guy's a$$ is that I want to create a really funny post at the screenshots forum! :D It should also be really funny when I show it to my friends :)Any help appreciated,Asim Daffa :-kewlVP, Fleet - Senior First Officerwww.sv-virtual.com
August 17, 200223 yr Your brain's gone, Asim. However, Shigeru's stick certainly needs the odd mod. The default Sop Camel sounds are definitely not "sweeping" enough ... I prefer something like the F-14 sounds or something with a little more "stick". "Witch" do y'all prefer?Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
August 17, 200223 yr "Your brain's gone, Asim."Awwww c'mon man, where's your sense of fun? We need to have something funny in our FS2002 anyway :-lolI personally prefer the Sopwith or T-Bird sounds (the T-Bird download links are available in the latest July files article by Steve Cartright), because realistically it's impossible for a human to push so much gas from his rectum enough to create an F-14 type sound!! :-lol :-lol But you're right, a jet fighter sound like the F-14 would really create a funny "sweeping sound" like you suggested! :7To the Avsim moderators: I don't mean any perversion with this post but I just want to add a funny effect to the Nimbus 2003 Flying Broomstick. I hope you understand :)Asim :-kewl
August 17, 200223 yr Sorry, Asim, that WAS meant to be funny. My British sense of humour, I suppose ... after all, we do play cricket so we have to have a sense of humour.I disagree with your F-14 analysis. Being a great fan of Indian curries, I would rate a decent vindaloo as being quite capable of causing serious afterburn and "turban-charged" sounds. My point though, is that Harry's Nimbus in the movie is definitely closer to a fighter jet pulling 6G on those turns than to a Sopwith Camel. Better brakes, too!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
August 17, 200223 yr Well I guess that F-14 sounds would be OK for the Nimbus, but of course we definitely need the engine fire effect on the guy's a$$!! :-lol :-lol It's also worth noting that the braking in this thing is very tough and can cause you to crash with that owl "Hedwig" dissapearing into the dirt when you go nose down :-lolWe need more crazy stuff like this in FS2002!! :DAsim :-kewl
August 17, 200223 yr Helloooooo..... Isn't anyone willing to add the fire effects that I want to the Nimbus 2003????Asim :-kewl
August 18, 200223 yr :-lol :-lol :-lol I eat Indian currys often(wonderful stuff) and I never get those problems, Mark. :-lol Asim, I think it would be possible to add the ##### affect for a certain point in flight "stratuo, thouchdown, etc, but not to the tune of a key. Perhaps on touchdown?
August 18, 200223 yr hmmm... The touchdown effects are nothing like the fire effects! :-lol We need fire effects! fire, fire! :-lol ohhhh I'm goin' nuts....It's just an edit in the Aircraft.cfg file, which I'm sure someone can do, I hope someone would respond....Asim :-kewl
