Pilot Registration # and password for SB...?...

Featured Replies

Where the heck do you get those? I'm trying to get connected following the directions. Doing fine until I had to fill in these fields. I was never asked anywhere, during setup, to GET a Pilot Registration # and password. :-zhelp I have one for VATSIM but it says that they are not the same for IVAO. Man I'm confused! *:-* And what's IVAO?Thanks, Adam

Hallo Adamyou get these pilot Registration and the belonging Password from the network you want to use.to use VATSIM(erlier SATCO) you go to their website and register as pilot in the join now button : http://vatsim.net/the other netwotk is ivao you get another pilot ID http://www.ivao.org so you have first to register to at least one network. this is free .and then you enter the Pilot ident number(PID ) and the password of the network you want to use in the SB.regards Achimhttp://a.bethke.bei.t-online.de

Thanks Achim. How do you know whether you will be Flying on VATSIM or IVAO. It just says that the passwords are different, but doesn't tell you in Squawkbox which one you are joining. Thanks again, Adam

they both offer nearly the same sevice and are both free. but they have different stuffed regions every time.to decide wich one to use you can use tools like whazzup or servinfo. there you find which stations are manned and who is flying in the network. so look short at each one and decide the which one you want to paticipate.both programs are freeware.Whazzup is from enrico Schiratti and displays the stations and traffic in grafic. you can find it under: http://www.schiratti.com/whazzup.htmlservinfo is from Michael Frantzeskakis and displays it sorted by countries. you can find it under: http://avsim.com/hangar/utils/servinfo/hope that this helped you a little bit.Achimall interested people in simbuildermeeting visit my webpage for 11 Mai event: http://a,bethke.bei.t-online.de
