Squawkbox and Dialup--PLEASE HELP!

Featured Replies

Hey all,I'm using SB and SBRelay with FS9 and a dialup internet connection. When I connect SBRelay it shows that all servers are setup and such, then I try to connect FS9 to that, but when I open multiplayer no sessions show up...How can I solve this?? It used to work fine with COMCAST Cable, but are there some settings I should change???Thanks,MarcMarc Gibson

hello, before you press the host button on multiplayer make sure you erase your IP address if its in the top right corner of your screen. This might help but i'm not sure. You should then press host then at the next screen press ok. I think i have an idea of what your saying but i'm not sure. If you have more questions put up another post i'll see what i can do. MarcI'm totally new to VATSIM but I use the same setup you've described and similarly had no session show up. After the FS9...Flight/Multiplayer/Connect sequence I have to type 127.0.0.1 into the IP address and then my SBRelay session appears.Similarly when I then start SB Main program I also have to tell it to look on my machine (which 127.0.0.1 does, so I am led to believe) before it will find the session.I cannot swear that what I've described is the correct way to do it, but I've managed to get online doing it this way :)Mike
