May 29, 200422 yr I am experiencing problems when trying to start Squawkbox when FSNavigator is installed, the problem goes away when FSNav is not around. When I click 'join' for the session, Squawkbox crashes, saying there is a problem with User32.dll. I get messages ranging from Failed to Enumerate the Hosts, to Failed to Connect to the Server with some odd message.I have seen other posts, but no solutions?? Please, I need one, I love FSNavigator, but am having real problems with not being able to get online. Thanks,AJ
June 2, 200422 yr What OS are you running? Windows XP? If so, try doing this. Run a file search for the User32.dll that keeps giving you the problem. For some odd reason, Windows XP has a tendency to duplicate these dynamic link library files. If you have a duplicate .dll, then delete the dupe and keep the original. This should clear up your problem. Also, when running squawkbox, try using the actual .exe icon from the system menu: C:Program FilesSquawkboxSB.exe, if this is how it is installed on your PC. Hope this helps.>I am experiencing problems when trying to start Squawkbox>when FSNavigator is installed, the problem goes away when>FSNav is not around. June 2, 200422 yr Not the problem ... I did a search, and there were actually three copies of user32.dll, but all in the right places. Lastgood, Lastgood.tmp, for Windows XP.So, that isn't the problem. I finally got Squawkbox to connect simply by not starting FS with the FSNavigator module, and am wondering if maybe when Squawkbox3 comes out, this problem might solve itself.Dunno, but for the time being, no Squawkbox for me. Maybe Ill try installing the FS2002 version, though I am wondering if it will work with FS9.Thanks a ton,Andrew Tunall
