New and weird problem for the past two days - flying from LFMN (Nice) to LSZH (Zurich) online, using SB with SBRelay, FS9 has crashed on me, more or less in the same spot about 2/3 on my way. Funny enough, it never happens flying FS9 offline...Error message taken from the Win XP log as follows;Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0Event Category: NoneEvent ID: 1000Date: 15/09/2004Time: 14:32:19User: Computer: Description:The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: fs9.exe, 9.0.0.30612, unknown, 0.0.0.0, 00000000.Data:0000: 41 70 70 6c 69 63 61 74 Applicat0008: 69 6f 6e 20 46 61 69 6c ion Fail0010: 75 72 65 20 20 66 73 39 ure fs90018: 2e 65 78 65 20 39 2e 30 .exe 9.00020: 2e 30 2e 33 30 36 31 32 .0.306120028: 20 69 6e 20 75 6e 6b 6e in unkn0030: 6f 77 6e 20 30 2e 30 2e own 0.0.0038: 30 2e 30 20 61 74 20 6f 0.0 at o0040: 66 66 73 65 74 20 30 30 ffset 000048: 30 30 30 30 30 30 0d 0a 000000..The Win XP message that triggers the crash is that hard-disc is full and thus I must shut down FS9. That is of course nonsense since I have well over 30GB space on my disc and Win XP doesn't seem to have any problems with its swapfile otherwise!Anybody? Is it FS9 or SB that does this?Appreciate any help since I'm trying to do the IVAO round the world and it happens on one of it's legs :)// peter//// AMD 3000+, 1GB RAM, GForce FX5600, Edirol UA5 external USB audio

i think, that problem is about scenery, or combination aircraft scenery. IS FS9 falling in another leg too ??

Yes, i know the scenery problem. It's a known bug in the way terrain.dll interacts with addon mesh and landclass. There is a German fix which is to be found searching for "terrain.dll" and "fs2004" on Google :)Now, my problem is that I have now flown the route several times both off as well as online. The sim does not crash flying "only" with AS2004 as an addon. It crashes as soon as the combination of SBREaly, SB and FS9 comes together. It's a time thing and not a position dito. It crashes after a certain time, circa 40 minutes with Memory Fault as an excuse. So, depending on what airplane I choose I get different distances before it happeneds.Just minutes ago it crashed on final into LSZH rather than miles before but it was also the fastest trip I tried so far. This time, funny enough, the WinXP Event Log did not produce an error. What happened though was that SB produced and error message about 10 minutes earlier but without loosing connection.I can only think of a memory leak of some kind. Maybe the known problem of USB devices..?For know I'm clueless!//peter
