WSATimedOut

Hi folks,I'm running SB and all those good programs on my computer, which is on a college network. As a result of being on the network, Windows autoupdate is on (I have Windows XP Pro, service pack 1), plus I have a McAfee agent running. The ICF is disabled to the best of my knowledge (going to network connections from the control panel, it says its off). Now, everything was fine during most of September, then starting roughly half way through the month, I would run SB, and when I right-clicked and connected, it would give me the message saying WSATimedOut, and that a connection couldnt be established.Any thoughts? I've read every FAQ and forum post I could find but nothing seems to help. Thanks everyone,Brad

Sounds like your college has shut-off access to the FSD server. But just in case that's not it, make sure you are connecting to an actual server that is online.
