April 17, 200224 yr For Immediate Release -VATSIMs Los Angeles Center has issued a challenge to all on-line pilots by announcing the 'ZLA Challenge Event'. For this event, IFR-rated pilots, and those who think they are 'pilot enough', will be challenged to shoot five full complex approaches at some of California's foggiest airports. Pilots will need to study up on their NDB, Back Course and Localizer approaches.
