WHY WAS I DISCONECTED!

Recommended Posts

Guest B1900 Mech

Could a rep from vatsim please tell me why while flying a f/p from klax to ksfo as UA 1853 at aprox 2130, I was shut down by a supervisor!!! I was in contact with bay app. being vectored for a left downwind to the ils 28R. and was told by the controller to disregard the messages! After a lot of planning, reroutes, etc, that was a sorry end to my flight! Rant Mode Off, Jim

Hi Mech,Try contacting them via the webpage, it has a contact link on it, try to find the most suitable person to mail to. I would suggest you include your name, flightnumber, PID, date and time. You can probably also try via the director of your vACC.Sorry but I can't help you anymore on this because I'm not in any sort of staff position.Regards,http://home.wxs.nl/~visual/sig2.jpg

You should have been told why and the supervisor should have identified himself along with the reason. You can also contact the VP of Supervisors, Neal Truitt and ask him for explanation if you didn't get one. If you do, however, you'll need to provide him with more identifying information than you gave here. None of us can work from essentially anonymous information like what we find in these forums.cz

Hmm, that's what I get for reading at the end of a long weekend filled with in-laws and the like.Nonetheless, providing a real name and CID reduces the amount of detective work required to help someone.
