Winds Aloft

Featured Replies

When flying online, the winds aloft at cruise altitude (like FL350) never exceed 30 knots. Realistically, they can reach 100 knots. Is there a way to allow flight sim to allow strong winds?

I've seen well over 100kts on many occasions. Do you have a limit set in your FSUIPC settings?Lee Hetherington (KBOS)

I can get winds aloft of 100 knots when using real weather without SB. However, once I fly online, they won't exceed 30. I don't believe I have an FSUIPC setting that would prevent such winds. However, if there IS a checkbox or something, please let me know! Thanks.

If you use FSMETEO while flying online, you will experience the actual real world forecasted Winds Aloft, as they appear in the FD (Winds Aloft) reports.Stamatis
