Squawk Box and DirectX 9...are there problems?

I believe there are problems with 8.1b and SquawkBox and I believe 8.1b is really DirectX 9...Has anyone installed DirectX 9? Any problems?Jeff

It was DirectX 8.2 that had the multiplayer problem. I had installed CFS3 which automatically installed 8.2 for me and multiplayer was screwed ever since.After downloading 9.0, multiplayer has been back to normal. So in effect, there should NOT be any multiplayer issues at all with 9.0. Have fun. =)
