Well, today I finally spent the time to get setup for VATSIM (I initially figured it would be to confusing) and it was actually very simple if you have the time and patience to configure and download everything...Anyways..after setting everything up I was actually able to get it working. (Go Me) Here is a quick question, now that everything is set up, and I begin going for my first flight on VATSIM I need to know once I file a flight plan and I am in a area which is controled, Do I need to contact Clearance to advise my flight plan is filed or do I wait to be contacted?? That is pretty much it...Just wanted to make sure I didn't interupt anyone else.

You have to call them first :)If your new to the whole Vatsim thing, I suggest you surf on over to www.vatsim.net/prc and go over some of the docs there. Will make your first trip an easier one.
