No one seeing my text messages in Squawkbox

Featured Replies

One of our pilots is having a problem with SB and FS2004. For some strange reason his text messages are not getting out when he types in Squawkbox. He's following all the correct procedures when connecting. He can see the other aircraft when online. He can see the message traffic come across the text box. The problem is, no one can see his text message when he types it. Also when he clicks on a ATC, his freqs due not change to the proper channel. He has to use the servinfo gauge to connect to ATC. He is running the correct version of SB, SBRelay, HostSB, FSUIPC. His firewalls are down and we made sure he configured his ports correctly for his router. We even tried to uninstall and reinstall SB but it still didn't fix the problem. Any one know of a fix for this? The only thing we haven't done is delete the SB.ini in the windows directory. Maybe we need to start from scratch and redownload everything.

This is a new one to me :(Is he running direct X 9.0b?For the host program is that the DLL or the EXE he is running. If its the DLL have him try the EXE version

This sounds like an FSUIPC problem. I know you said he had the correct version but you need to insure that he's running the latest 3.x version and that the SB key has been properly entered.cz

Thanks GuysWill try out the FSUIPC fix and see what happens.
