I was planning a flight out of heathrow on vatsim one of these days, but I have been unable to find any SID's on the net. Where can get some so that I can plan this flight.Thanks-Mikkel

HiYou can get all charts for the UK here:http://www.ais.org.uk/aes/login.jspYou have to register but it's free. The charts are buried deep within the site though. Once registered and logged in got to Publications -> UKAIP -> click the link on the next page -> Menu item UKAIP -> Aerodrome data -> Aerodromes-Specific. Or, much easier, follow this link:http://www.ais.org.uk/aes/pubs/aip/html/aipad2.htm Hope that helps!Bruce.

Or you can do yourself a favour and go here http://www.dauntless-soft.com/PRODUCTS/SimPlates/frame.htmlWith the purchase of the SimPlates 2004 you can get all kinds of info on Heathrow including Arrival and Departure Plates, as well as any ILS approach the airport has and other info such IFR minimums. All charts come in PDF format, are easy to read and printable. I don't IFR SIM without them!!!

I can't register at that site as it gives me an error when trying to enter the register information. I don't have a british address so it gives me an error on this.-Mikkel

MikkelMake sure you apply for the "British Isles only" service. That does not require an address, telephone number etc. On the subscription page press the top "Yes" button, not the next one down. The advantage of this site is that all the charts are real world and are kept up to date. VATSIM-UK are particularly keen on keeping to real world procedures. And of course it's free. :-)Bruce.
