September 30, 200421 yr I was wondering, is there any place where I can see when the NAT tracks will be covered with ATC? Is there sometime when they do a "NAT Fly-In"?Thanks-Mikkelp.s. I want to thank boston center last night...it was great.
September 30, 200421 yr Oceanic control is online now and again but unfortunately not very often. You can usually see Oceanic control when there is an event.
September 30, 200421 yr Thank you Ben...I wish they where online more often. It makes it hard for us driving the bigger planes. There is no NAT Fly-in?-Mikkel
September 30, 200421 yr I just remembered...I seem to recall that it's allowed to speed up time when crossing the atlantic - no?-Mikkel
October 1, 200421 yr Ive been flying on VATSIM for a little over a year and I have yet to see an oceanic control online. 'Tis a shame. You can speed up your sim rate if you wish when you are not being controlled, just make sure you dont step away while at that speed in case you come into someones airspace. It could make a mess!
October 30, 200421 yr Hello all,I believe that there is a fly-in called "Cross the Pond". During this fly in, there should be usually FIR manned. It is a great expirience flying with others over the Atlantic.Cheers,Andrej
