November 1, 200421 yr Hey all,Ive connected to Vatsim, and filed a flight plan. I am on the ground at LHR, however I see no aircraft around me - when I check on Servinfo, Im showing up in the middle of the sea in the Accra FIR!Can someone give me some help?Simon :-)
November 1, 200421 yr I can't solve the problem. But I can tell some airplane goes there, by some faulty reason. The location are the earth origo cordinates i.e. zero-zero.Could it be FS9 Setting International not as default.Default:Units: U.S. SystemLatitude: NorthernLongitude: WesternLennart Vedin SAS202
November 2, 200421 yr 99.9% of the time it is thisOpen your Control panel in windowsRegional and Language Settings --> Regional Tab --> Customize-->List separator needs to be a , not a . if it is a , set it to .If that does not fix it make sure you are on Direct X version 9.0b or higherStart button --> Run --> dxdiaglook on the first tab last line
November 2, 200421 yr I believe you are having this problem because you are running the unregistered version of fsuipc. If you have fsuipc, you need to either register the program by purchasing it, or entering the squawkbox program code in the fsuipc options. I'm not sure of the code, since i've purchased the program.good luckPaul
November 3, 200421 yr Nope, if you forget to reg FSUIPC for SB you should get a error from FSUIPC telling you about this, when SB starts to load.
November 7, 200421 yr ok. i've changed the regional settings thing, and that has seemed to allow me to register my flightplan. however, it servinfo says i'm still in ACCRA fir but it's registering me as half-way done my route because servinfo thinks i'm off the coast in africa! any help here fellas?
November 7, 200421 yr That could. I'm not sure which version had the bug in it. B works fine and we are now up to version C which works fine as well
November 7, 200421 yr I've updated it (directx) now, and the same stupid problem persists! I can see there are other people on servinfo with the same stupid problem as me, so there are other people in the same boat. Could there be a solution to this?
November 7, 200421 yr Afraid I agree with ruzzoboy - you need to enter this code in the FSUIPC registration box...........LWVQ 7I2V 9GPBThis should get you into the correct position ( not DGAC- Accra).Dave
November 8, 200421 yr >I've updated it (directx) now, and the same stupid problem>persists! I can see there are other people on servinfo with>the same stupid problem as me, so there are other people in>the same boat. Could there be a solution to this?Change your decimal separator in your Windows XX settings from a comma (,) to a period (.) That has been a known problem for some time now.Control Panel -- Regional Settings -- Customize is where it's at on XP, it may be worded a little differently in other OS's.
