April 3, 200521 yr Hi to all of you!!!First at all excusseme for my English, i'll try to write well.I need your help with a doubt that i have. I don't understand very well, I download every 28 days de new AIRAC, currently is used the AIRAC-503. To tha point is ok., but i need to download too the SID's & STAR's approaches (right?), the DAFIF cycle needs to be the same than the AIRAC or not?, cause I have donwloaded the Most Recent SID's & STAR's All In One (AIO), but i don't understand, y replace the oldest or not?, an in another hand, for example, I have a file named SACO.txt wich contains some fixes and only one VORDME approach, but i find another stand alone, with another approach, an ILS approach. My question for this point is: How to update my file with the newest, without lost my oldest approach, cause i need to paste into the oldest, the newest information, but what about the fixes, some of them aren't the same, and the same have another way to describes the position, some in LAT & LON and others in Position relative to the VOR (for example).OK, is too extensive, please if you can help me, i'll be very gratefully with you. April 8, 200521 yr Hello Emilio>First at all excusseme for my English, i'll try to write>well. Not to worry. You get the point across.>the DAFIF>cycle needs to be the same than the AIRAC or not?,Yes it should be to avoid problems.>have donwloaded the Most Recent SID's & STAR's All In One>(AIO), but i don't understand, y replace the oldest or not?,You did not mention what aircraft you need the SIDs/STARs for. There is a difference in what is in the AIO file. Please note that those AIO files are NOT verified as being up-to-date. They are user developed SIDs/STARs that were uploaded to navdata.at and combimed into that AIO file. They may or may not be current. It is up to you to verify.Check PlanePath at http://home.sw.rr.com/filesherenow/index.html for all new SIDs, STARs and IAPs every 28 days.>How to update my file>with the newest, without lost my oldest approach, If you have the PMDG or PSS aircraft go to the Terminal Procedures forum here at avsim and you will find a pinned tutorial about how to properly update SIDs and STARs for those aircraft.>but what>about the fixes, some of them aren't the same, Are not the same as what?>and the same>have another way to describes the position, some in LAT & LON>and others in Position relative to the VOR (for example). There is more than one way to describe the same location so I would not worry about that as long as it IS the same location being described.RegardsTerry
