August 2, 200520 yr Hello, all.I installed a couple of airports in my flight simulator, but I cannot seem to find any free sources for charts (I just started college, so any money I have left is going toward the Queen).Does anyone know where I can find charts that would cover the following add-ons?Aerosoft German Airports 1Aerosoft German Airports 3Aerosoft German Airports 4Delblond Christian's TAPADelblond Christian's TBPBDelblond Christian's TFFRDelblond Christian's TKPKDelblond Christian's TTCVDelblond Christian's TTPPFlight1 Islands of the West IndiesFlyTampa OMDBOSS ELGCOSS EGKKSimflyers CYZZSimflyers EDDFSimflyers EGCCSimflyers EGGWSimflyers LIBDSimflyers LIRFSimWings LEGRSimWings LFMDSimWings LFPGI'd greatly appreciate any leads to any of these sources. I am a member of AOPA which got me access to charts for my real life flying and - as an added bonus, I can use the same charts for any sim flying in the US. But outside the US I am having a hard time finding the plates for the above airports. Thanks a lot to whomever responds. :-)
August 2, 200520 yr Hi Christopher, good to hear you're using German Airports. You'll love to fly to germany then :)You can get the charts for all major german, austrian and switzerland airports (mostly compatible with GAP) at the homepage of the responsible vatsim-division http://www.vacc-sag.org/?PAGE=airport_infochoose the FIR and Airport from the dropdowns on the top of the page.Hope to see you soon in Munich (EDDM)best regards,FrankvATC Munich/Germany (EDDM)http://www.vacc-sag.org
August 2, 200520 yr Many thanks, friend. I posted thi request in 3 various forums and got piled with the information I need. Your link was very helpful as well and I now have everything I need to chart the airports I have on hand :-)I have software all over my computer to plan (such as FSBuild, etc.) but I find that good old fashioned chart planning is always my best bet :-)
August 6, 200520 yr Great to see soemone who wants to do it properly instead of making it up as they go along. Welcome to the joys of VATSIM.You've probably got this link already, but I'll post it for completeness. It's a page with links to a huge range of aviation charts. http://www.d-s.demon.co.uk/charts/index.htmRuthVATUK2
