Hello,I have a simple question. Which rules determine as what kind of aircraft and airline (livery) other pilots see my aircraft? How does Squawkbox find out if I use a 757 or a 767? Does it use the information that I have to provide when I connect to the Squawkbox server or does it use the information of the actual aircraft selected in FS2004?Here are some example questions...What do others see me as if I use...1.my Level-D 767-300 (Level D Livery) "767-300" in the squawkbox menuBAW799 (or another BAW flight) as flight number. Will I be visible as a BAW 767-300 or as a Level D 767-300?2.my PSS 757-200 (British Airways 1990 Livery)"757-200" in the squawkbox menuBAW799 (or another BAW flight) as flight number. Will I be visible as a BAW 757-200 or as a PSS 757-200?And related to that topic: which visual models does Squawkbox use? Does it have default models for all airlines? Or are the visual models from the other pilots "transferred" to my computer so that I can see them (that would use a lot of bandwith, so I can't imagine that...)?Thanks for any explanations!Malte

Malte,>Does it use the information that I have to provide when I connect to>the Squawkbox server or does it use the information of the>actual aircraft selected in FS2004?It uses the information used on connection. Technically you could tell it you are flying a 747 but in FS select a helicopter. Naturally it is best to match these as close as possible.>1.>my Level-D 767-300 (Level D Livery) >"767-300" in the squawkbox menu>BAW799 (or another BAW flight) as flight number.>Will I be visible as a BAW 767-300 or as a Level D 767-300?You need to select the BA option in the livery. If it is generic then you will show as a 763 in generic (VIP) colours.>2.>my PSS 757-200 (British Airways 1990 Livery)>"757-200" in the squawkbox menu>BAW799 (or another BAW flight) as flight number.>Will I be visible as a BAW 757-200 or as a PSS 757-200?Again, unkess you choose the livery you will show as generic.>And related to that topic: which visual models does Squawkbox>use? Does it have default models for all airlines? Or are the>visual models from the other pilots "transferred" to my>computer so that I can see them (that would use a lot of>bandwith, so I can't imagine that...)?SB3 comes with two low poly modelsets. You can find these in your aircraft/VIP and aircraft/sb3 folders.
