Greetings all!I'm in the early stages of building a Boeing-type CDU. I have pretty much selected everything except the display. I have ordered my panel parts from PCos of a320project fame, and I have my first KE72 in hand. (EPIC after I get my feet wet) Now to find the "perfect" LCD to fit in the space alotted.Has anyone found the "perfect" LCD module? I'm leaning toward purchasing from partsexpress.com. Nice stuff, seemingly good support, and reasonably priced. Any help in keeping me from reinventing the wheel would be greatly appreciated. Thanks allMark

Actually, the reason that I don't have his product in hand is because he's supposed to be finishing up something regarding "backlit buttons". Or, for lack of a better term, a backlit CDU panel. In his last email, he briefly mentioned the buttons. I have since emailed him, but got no reply. This, I assume is because he's in Fankfurt as I type this.I hope to hear a reply shartly after he returns. In the meantime, I'm still soliciting LCD options for a CDU.Mark

You may already have seen this from a later post...but this system looks rather good. 5.6" LCD Active matrix screen would be almost perfect for an FMS CDU. It will *just* fit in my honeywell CDU 6000 system...after removing the plastic casing and separating the screen from the support. At only $129...not bad.http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_ne...cial/index.htmlCheers!Captain 777www.777project.com (site down for ISP switch til 15/5)[email protected]
