I am building multiple throttles, prop-pitch controls, elevator trim, etc. I have tried to use USB/Gameport adapter from Radio Shack to connect multiple pots to my computer through USB, but the results have been very disappointing. Finally, I have decided to buy several cheap USB joysticks ($20-30). It is slightly more expensive than the Radio Shack adapter but it will work. Does anybody have a positive experience with these adapters?

I forget what the problems were, but I know there was a reason I switched back to plugging straight in to the game port.
