July 12, 200223 yr I wish that sort of detail was available for the B747! I'm searching for internal cockpit dimensions for the B747 and the only times I have actually found somebody that has taken to a cockpit with a tape measure and are in a position to help , they often don't like to share this info for reasons best understood by them. :( Why all the secrecy!
July 12, 200223 yr Hi Ken,Thanks a lot for the information. Great graphics.I am interpreting the ruler above the drawings to be in centimeters, i.e., each marking on the ruler represents 1 cm, independent if it is a short or a long mark.Is that right? That would make the Control Stand width (measured form where the wheels are attached to the Control Stand and not including the trim wheels )about 23 cm. Sounds right?Do you have any idea of the vertical dimensions? Just the distance from the floor to the top of the trim wheels would help a lot. Thanks again,Firmo
