October 29, 200223 yr Thanks for the compliment and yes there sure has and I aint even half done yet.The last few month's I have bin working on it every bit of free time I can spare and it looks better everytime I finish something. The Flightdeck Solution MIP sure has taken things a step further.I will now get back to the pedestal again and finish it first then proceed to the throttles and move on from there.Last week I bought a second hand 9" CRT display that fitted as the secondary eicas that one was really hard to get I think it used to serve as a cashregister display before.I will try to update regular again.Nihad
October 30, 200223 yr Those small CRT displays are hard to come by. Although they have been used extensively in POS (point of sale) applications, they rarely seem to make to the retail or surplus markets. One recent exception is a refurbished 10 inch SVGA monitor from Jameco Electronics. www.jameco.com Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com
October 30, 200223 yr I dont think a 10" would fit as this display was already a bit on the big side.I had to remove the case so it would fit.Maintaining the real B744 sizes the 2 5.7" LCD display's take there space so this dislay fit's in exactly also as real display's are not square like the once in the real plane I came a cm short on the frames i have but will be fixed so it wont be noticable.
