OLD QUESTION FROM A NEW USER

Featured Replies

I just started up the Magenta demo on a dual moniter setup one pc.I know I need to network the system... Im just playing around with it now. Anyhow is there a way to get this thing to run ( magenta) in full acceleration and have fs running on the seperate moniters. I would search all the forms ... but I have to get my dads moniter back!Ie I need a quick answer or link.... THANKSJon

Jon,Take a look at WidevieW by Luciano Napolitano at wideview.00server.com and WideFS by Peter Dowson on the Project Magenta site.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.comInfo for simpit builders

Mike,I looked at both of those programs but they didnt seem to remedy my problem. I also looked at what I wrote ... and I dont think I was clear. I am wanting to run on one computer both FS2002 and the magenta demo. I have a MSI GF4 440mx with dual moniter outputs. I want to run fs2002 on my moniter...and the pfd and nav on the second. Funny enough, I have a 5 computer network and I have ran magenta on one of the networked computers. Problem is now... all of the puters are in use( homework, listening to a ball game, surfing, etc) So its easier for me to just run it from my computer for now. I am curious to know if its possible to run Magenta and FS together on one computer.....with the Magenta getting full ICD acceleration. You know if I run fs in 16:9 mode with magenta below... it doesnt seem to be a problem.......but when I bring up the second moniter and place magenta on it.....the slideshow begins. Let me know what you think....I have until all the games go off then I have to take that moniter back to its owner! :()TIAJon
