PeterKI have the Complete SUNCOM f-15 system in my P-51 Mustangcockpit....The suncom uses Key board Emulation...all the buttonsare programmed through the keyboard and can do basic functionsThe draw back is you cant use ctrl , shift , 1 to start a enginejust one letter at a time...one button = g or [ or s and so on..I think theres 48 functions total that are stored in 4 memory bankscant say iv even come close to making them all work..This thing makes Falcon 4 of Janes f-15 or IAF act like a real jet but I dont think it will make a good airbus stick..Pete Http://home.attbi.com/~fs-boneyard

Pete, You can actually program up to 5 keystrokes per switch with the SunComms. I have 2 of them in use and like the 4 seperate modes for switches but am getting tired of the poor quality pots on the levers. If you read the documents closely it explains some different posibilities for switch assignments. I used them a lot before getting the Hagstrom card. The one thing that I see lacking with the SunCom switches is you cannot hold the switch and get a repeat of the command, but as far as assigning "Shift" or "Alt" plus another key they work just fine.http://www.ktone.org/images/FSD_ken.jpg

PeterKIll agree the suncom f-15 system has its short commings...I find the right throttle has a dead spot down in the idlemode...Even when using the window Game port set up you crankthe throttle all the way back then you get an errorthat the joystick is missing...Basically dont throttle all the way to the bottom...The Left throttle i went in and by passed the thingand added rudder peddals from a MAd Katz Nascar system...for therudder..It was kind of Clumsy to use the left throttle as a rudderAs for the buttons...Ill say the thing really works...Using Janesf-15 or IAF makes the stick come alive the keyboard Emulationis pretty easy and i dont know why everybody complained when itwas first on the market...Once again..Its not an AIRBUS stick its a f-15/f-18 stick and throttleSeeing my cockpit is a Fighter plane it works for me...But it can bea 737 in fs2002 also,,,guess im not a realistic simmer...All a hobby of funPeteHttp://home.attbi.com/~fs-boneyard
