March 11, 200323 yr okay, can anyone help me with the gerber format file versions of the fsbus pcbs. One of the manufacturers that I have approached are unable to make any sense of the drill files. I've tried loading the drill files into a gerber viewer, and the drill specifications seem to be waaaay to big, and mirrored compared to the gbr file. Can anyone help? Firstly to decifer what the drill sizes are supposed to be, and secondly, why the drl file appears to be the other way round to the gbr file. The viewer I'm using is GC-Prevue.ThanksChris
March 13, 200323 yr Hello,i am not a specialist in CNC drilling and milling, so i trusted my layout software (Sprint Layout). There were no configuration parameters when creating those files. But i was told, that these kind of formats are ambigous concerning size.Have you tried the postscript files instead ?Can your pcb manufactorer tell, what other format is suitable for him ?
