CH yoke problem help

Featured Replies

Hello all of you, techniciansthe problem started when I loaded a new VGAcard (MSI Ti4800SE 8x) and a new power unit at my PC. From that time both my controlers, a CH yoke LE and a SideWinder precition2 joystick have the same problem. They both start with the throtle at the middle andI have to move it a little or push a button to come to normal. But the most serious prob is with the CH, because it freezes after a while and FS freezes with it too (I can see it in the control panel too),so I have to unplug it and plug it again, but after a while the same.Microsoft replaces the j, but CH does not because unfortunately I made once a little hole at the back side of the device. Any suggestions except than buying a new one? George

Did replacing the MS joystick solve it's trouble?Did you try using the CH yoke on another PC?Is the yoke USB or gameport?Any troubles with other gameport or USB devices?

my mistake, need more informationyes they both are USByes I connected them to other PC's (six)with diferent confiquration and the same happens.the prob is definately from the controlersI think something happened with the power of the PC when I connected the new VGAcard thanks

You didn't change the videocard with the power on, did you? :(Are you experiencing any other problems with the PC where you changed the VGAcard and PSU?Any problems with other USB devices on that box?You could try to open the CH yoke and look for loose wires. It's not likely that that is the problem considering your stick went out too but couldn't hurt.Has CH denied you a replacement or haven't you checked with them yet?Is it a big hole?
