Just curious cuz I haven't been able to use mine yet.Are there any cockpits running with the LPTswitch succesfully ??Are there any who started with it and gave up for some reason ??Should I start on the software for the "LPTswitch Reloaded" version ?? (v2.0)This time I'll try to get you loaded with "error popup messages" which say what is wrong instead of the "runtime error".Anyway, I can tell you now for sure .. if you get a runtime .. it is that YOU are doing something wrong .. not my program ;o)Let me know !! I'm curious !!Cheers,Philippe

Hi philippeFirst I want to thank you for making LPT available for us to make and use.I have posted to you before with problems that I had in making this work, some of these problems I overcame with your help, some I sorted out myself.I am at the very early stages of making my cockpit, I am experimenting with all sorts of switches wires pots ect. to make things work before I go big style! smile. So does this work, I can arm my auto throttle with a switch before it was a push button from a hacked keyboard, but with LPT I can use a switch! great. I can use a push button to arm my auto pilot, great! this works too. but I am having problems in making other switches work, I know LPT works I can type letters in a word pad, but it seems FS2002 does not want to recognise these key changes, like I write before I am in experiment mode so may be I am making mistakes I do not think so! but I am a beginner. One big problem I had in making LTP work was in programming it, unless I missread your readme you told either to write key codes in LPT wordpad or run LPT and put switch code here, but I found I had to do both also add to file and save and then reload settings to get it to work, again I must experiment further. You are correct to say if you have run time error, you are doing something wrong, I had much of this untill I understood all, may be even reading your readme again helps! smile.Should you start on LPTswitch Reloaded? well LPT1 is giving me some problems, I want to overcome this, the pure fact of being able to switch on an action (key) and switch off again is fantastic who wants to hack keyboards and play with push buttons so I say yes, work on the new software I will try this from you, only may be first you must make LPT1 work for you smile!Hopefully I have given you some good feedback, may be others too!Regards [email protected]
