August 8, 200322 yr I have my chance to get a 727 throttle quad. Do you guys have any information on how to get the levers and switches interfaced with pots? My buddy Rob says he uses pushrods. Just wondering what everyone else here uses. Thanks
August 8, 200322 yr There are two or methods. 1st-- for sliding pot, if you want to mount it inside of quadrant, it would depends on size of pot. I suggest you to get one at least 2 inches so that can give enough space for you to mount in the quadrant. You would need to get couple of thin aluminum rod. and it need have loops or you can drill hole (if you wish to) at both end of thin rod so that can be mounted at "shaft" (if that is what they call on sliding pots), and at other end of thin rod mounted to the bottom end of leveler rods. That would create push and pull "environemt"2nd--Just like mine, I did was mount the gears on *rotary* pot shaft, and another gear mounted on side of leveler rod (not too far from bottom end). In case, if you liked my idea and is going to build one like mine.. Be sure you remember that rotary pot is winding at the opposite direction.Hope that help

They also have handy connectors that might be useful in attaching them to the levers and the pot.Tuomas
