Featured Replies

Well, sort of. I have begun posting pages for my home cockpit at http://www.mmorrell.com.I'm in the early stages of final planning and have started building the sim. I'm hoping to find the time to update the site on a regular basis. Please feel free to drop by and check it out! Thanks - mm

An excellent start on the site. I look forward to your additions.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com

Cool! My recommendation is a bad-azz CDU and some EICAS software!Robert

Interesting, post pics when you make progress! I have a sort of king air -kind of a project in my mind, currently at this stage:http://tigert.gimp.org/vatsim/cockpit-stuf...king-shape.jpegI needed a good base for the thing so I can get the controls fixed up firmly enough, and bolting them to the real floor was not quite an option. :)Those with good attention to detail will notice it has cessna-type throttles, those will probably be replaced by a twin prop set in the future, and I might get a LCD panel (currently using a CRT for gauges).. then there's the yoke and .. argh, you know the idea.. Lots of work, but I got to get it in a flyable state soon again, so it gives some fuel to the process :)Tuomas

Yeah Robert - my thoughts exactly... great minds tend to think alike!I'll be puting up some pics as time permits. Oddly, none of my links that embedded in the document came through when I published the pages. I'm using WORD to do the pages and it's misbehaving :(I will certainly have some pics up soon, as well as some thoughts on how I plan to implement the radios and GPS (Going to use GoFLight modules, disassembled and rebuilt with sockets and stuff to have the displays and knobs on the MIP... should be cool!).Thx -mm
