HI all! Will build my first panel prototype this weekend.Decided to try the "dual printed layer" method. I have started with the EFIS because its quite small. Here is a small jpeg of the panel.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/39291.jpgthe panel is 120mm * 70 mm.I will do 2 prints, one for light masking, OH-plastic to let light through, and one front for actual panel color and text. Will post the banel files in corel draw format on my web page as they are done...Will post pics of the panel when its backlit.Cheers!/ Olle

Olle,Panel looks pretty nice. Like to see pic's when it's done. Good luck with the project. I will be starting my project (Hybrid GA panel), pretty soon as I am at a point where I think that I have done enough (well... it's never enough), research to get the project actually started.RegardsSean W.

If you want to split hair, I'd make the texts slightly smaller to make it look less crammed. Also, make sure you try a draft printout with the knobs on top, those are surprisingly large and hard to imagine at first.Good luck! Post pics on how it works out!Tuomas

Hi OlleLooks really good.Could you tell me what material you are using for these panels, and if you are "screen printing" onto them?If so, how are you colouring the sides of the panel?Cheers
