September 29, 200322 yr It sure was... To everyone that wasn't there - you really should try to make one of these. All flight sim all the time for three days! I loved it! My wife and I were sitting in the resturant at the hotel and there were simmers at one table talking about using the FMS, another talking about instrument approaches, etc. Donna sitting across from me not understanding a word they were saying, said it was like she was inside my head (and it was a scary place!). Pretty funny, and true :)A great bunch of people, no question.
September 29, 200322 yr Mitch,Only thing that bothered me is when they were talking about the next event being maybe 18 months apart! I think there should be more of these, maybe every 6 months, or at least every year. 18 months is too far apart for my liking!KenDakenSkys
September 29, 200322 yr Ken,Good point... it might even be a good idea to have one on the coast and one on the west coast to alleviate some of the finacial burden on folks. I know I would love to attend every year, but it can be tough to get the sife to buy in to a trip to Nevada when we can only afford one big vacation a year. Not sure how the AVSIM's finances run to support that...I think they should have monthly exhibitions in New Jersey, for that matter :)-m
