November 12, 200322 yr Those who also fly in "real life" in addition to simulators, might be delighted to know that Garmin aviation handheld GPS support was added to GPSOut.dll, meaning one can get basic location data input from FS200X to the GPS unit. Here's a pic of how the stuff works. This is a great way to get to know your own GPS if you have one. It was tested in the GPSMap 196 but probably works with IIIPilot and all that have "Aviation In" -protocol support.A pic says more than words, two pics even more :)http://tigert.gimp.org/vatsim/albums/homec...t/aav.sized.jpghttp://tigert.gimp.org/vatsim/albums/homec...t/aat.sized.jpgThe new thing is the "Aviation" protocol support that makes the GPS think it is being connected to a panel-mounted GPS unit that has good satellite data because of a good antenna etc..A great way to practice the use of your GPS..www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlTuomas
