November 23, 200322 yr Hi Guys,Can anyone tell me what program I can use to map out my keyboard. I've just stripped apart a PS/2 Keyboard and have set it up on a board. But when I short the terminals I need to see exactly what I'm getting. Its hard to see the CTRL, ALT & SHIFT commands from programs like Microsoft WORD.Is there a freeware program out there that I can use which will show me every command when I short them out.I have attached a picture showing the layout I have done.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/49754.jpgKind Regards,

November 23, 200322 yr Brad another way to work it out, a little harder but if you have not yet thrown away the keyboard membrane is to just use a miultimeter or a buzzer & trace the tracks for each key, you will then be able to write a chart up for reference to tell you which terminals give you particular keystrokes, It looks a bit daunting when you first start buzzing it out but the further you go into it you will see a pattern develop & it gets easier as you go.Glenn.
