Playing FS on a PC in a real cockpit?

A picture of a B777-300 from boeing with a pc in the cockpit. In the front left you see a place for future lcd's. The new KLM 777-200 has a electronic flight bag with jeppesen approach maps. I think that will be projected on that place.I hope the pc is just for testing. (fatal blue screen on final)Norbert Boschhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=3235...D%3D&static=yes

I think the laptops (Airbuses have those too AFAIK) are for ref speed and fuel calculations and such.Tuomas

Southwest have small notebook computers in each cockpit with the software to calculate the fuel and weight figures and the Vr and suchlike. It's not connected to the cockpit electronics at all, a totally standalone unit. JetBlue's airbuses can actually have the ATIS and flight plan data downloaded from the Pilots WiFi equipped laptops.Richard
