Featured Replies

Hello.I have just started to build an A320 cockpit and would like to say hello to everyone.I have just put together a small webite that wil document my progress (very basic and in its infancy at the moment).www.sugden.karoo.netMerry Xmas everybody,Darren Sugden

Hi Darren,Looks like a pretty good start. Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com

Darren,Well done, as for 'just started to build...' it looks like you hit the ground running.I too have just started, as I write I'm waiting for wood glue to set on my A320 Pedestal from the guys on:http://www.a320flightdeck.com/home.phpBest for luck for 2004Regards,Niall

Thanks Niall.I'm on holiday so I am trying to get as much done as possible. The next step is to buy EPIC and understand how it works!Best wishes,Darren

Darren,I was thinking of buying the EPIC card too, (and maybe still will) as at the time it seemed to be the definitave platform for this type of work. But I happened by chance to come across Leo's site. And maybe an alternative to EPIC - I would also appreciate any discussion from experienced EPIC/USB users.http://www.betainnovations.com/Leo has USB devices which can support up to 256 inputs and 256 outputs. These are separate units. (Input and Output)Now I know his solution is not as complex as EPIC, certainly from a programming point of view, or a cost point of view. But it's possible it may be an alternative solution to implement.BTW I have absolutely no connection what so ever with Leo or his products.Best regards,Niall
