Guys, I'm looking for nylon gears that can be used for throttle quadrant such as flap, spoiler, auto trottle mechasim. Epected to find one at that is about two inches or at least long at diameter and about 1.5 inches thick... Ratio? I have no knowledge on ratio but any suggestion from you would be appreicated

I did a lot of research on gears prior to building my throttle quadrant. I hated searching through endless web sites, trying to find one that would help explain gears and show life size 3D pictures ... so I got off my butt and went to a few local hobby stores (the ones that have radio controlled cars, trucks and airplanes). There I found all sorts of cool things, like gears and pushrods with balljoints. Pookie, Ah, HOBBY STORE.... You're amazing... *slaping my head* Why didn't I think of it. I remember other day, I went to local hobby store to buy ship model kit (christmas gift for my grandfather) and nearby that model plane,ship,cars-- there were all of gears hanging on the board for RC cars, plane and etc and I never thought about using it for Throttle. Thanks for replacing the new light blub above my head. BTW Your quad is awesome, I'd give you 10 for that... nicely done...Stephen, Hey, we're flying same bird... I actually got them from an electronic store nearby (well still 50kms!!) www.lextronic.fr they sell parts from www.servolink.com which are quite good, plus there are lots of differents sizes to choose from which makes ratio as close a you actually want them...
