January 24, 200422 yr http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/59424.jpg I have decided to build a yoke recently and above is a gmax model of what I hope that it will look like eventually. The only problem that I have with building this is the noise from the potentiometers. I built a throttle quadrant a while back and that has incredibly jittery controls. I have taken all the steps to try and reduce the problem: using 100k pots, using shielded wire, grounding the pot cases etc..Anyone have any more steps that I can take with my new yoke to reduce the jittery controls? Anyone else built a yoke? What other tips do you recommend? Thanks in advance,David
January 24, 200422 yr David,Here is the solution. It's a card called Plasma. I used it. Excellent, no jitters at all because they are filtered. And you can add your Quad pots since the card handles up to 16 axises.Take a look at www.betainnovations.comRegardsRoger
