April 10, 200422 yr Just wanted to share with my fellow Airbus builders my excitement of getting the knobs build for the ENG Master Switches. It's hard sometimes to duplicate parts we can't get, particularly of a fairly new aircraft. So working with a multitude of pictures I was able to make drawings of the knob. Then the problems was designing it to fit/work with the right kind of switch. Of course Aribus probably has the switch custom designed, and most likely costing over a $1,000 a switch. Well.... I didn't want to spend that much money, lol. Believe me, mine cost MUCH less.
