I've been searching, searching, and searching, my friend also, and we could not find a good one.....does anyone know of one that is FREE and is somewhat good? Thanx for any help and advice!

Try a serch for a program called Serv-U32.exe Its an ftp file server like you are looking for. I used it a year or so ago, and its pretty good. What OS are you gonna run this on? If it's Windows (which I don't recommend) I don't know of any decent FTP servers. But if you're gonna run it on Linux I would recommend proftpd. It's a great little program with a configuration file that's similar to Apache. I set it up on my server with no problems at all. :)Gary
