May 26, 200422 yr Hi,i want to build an external FMC unit for my 737NG (PMDG) cockpit. That means, the input should be done via an external unit to the FMC. All numbers and alphabet signs are no problem, but the big problem is, that i have to make a command with the LSK Keys and the Menu keys? Is there a mapping available? Or is the only chance to get this working with key2mouse?please help!thanksgreetings Mark

Or is the only chance to get>this working with key2mouse?I'm afraid the only way (that i know of) is key2mouse.I was thinking of doing something like that, but in order to use the keyboard emulation, you should devote an entire computer to it, otherwise all keyboards input would be intercepted by the FMC.How did you solve this problem? Also how do you have it show only the monitor and not the keyboard?Or what is your setup?
May 26, 200422 yr Actually there is! I asked Enrico to do this about 6 months ago, and he e-mailed me back 2 days later saying "It's done..."Ask the PM team... it's under one of the menus, it says "DEF LSK". Then you can map them to ANY button or key combination you want.RobertSim Registry (Under Construction)http://www.t-b-x.com/prather/registry/HSBHome.asp
May 27, 200422 yr Hi,i found something out. Its possible to access the 12-LSK keys by the F1 to F12 keys, when the KBD mode is enabled. But, how its possible to access the menu keys????need urgent help!that i only get the KBD commands for the fmc i would solve with a button, that switches KBD on/off. To show only the monitor i would take a 6" colour LCD display and set the fmc to the size, that i only see the monitor like nico does (http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/images/FMCProt2.jpg)greetingsMark
