May 26, 200422 yr I ahve completed my FSBUS units and am starting to build my first radia panel. What I am looking for is a set of knobs that can be used in the inner-outer configuration without being too overly large. Then inner knob would control the integer and the outer knob the decimal. I have looked all over and am not having any luck finding knobs that will work. Milt
May 26, 200422 yr Which country do you hail from?I get mine from Maplin cos they do 3 sizes. Plus they all fit on top of each other, and the smaller one has a 4mm centre which is ideal for the brass-rod-inside-6mm-tube trick used with dual concentrics :)RS also supply these, as for other outlets, just take a peek
May 26, 200422 yr Thanks for answering. I am from New York. Are you referring to RS electronics? What do you mean take a peek?

May 29, 200422 yr I used black replacement concentric automobile radio knobs from Radio Shack. They're pretty inexpensive, although not all stores may have them in stock. Otherwise shop at an autoparts store for replacements... they usually have some very interesting knobs.Because my switch hole was not exactly on-center however, I also added a thick plastic washer between them to raise the top inner knob away from accidentally turning the lower outer knob.Kev
May 29, 200422 yr That is the answer I was looking for. Simple and clean. Buying from a catalogue can sometimes be a hit and miss proposition. Actually seeing the part is much saner. Thanks for the idea. Milt
