Servo or Stepper Motor

Hi everyone,I will receive my first FSBUS hardware next week (maybe the week after next week) and I am already trying to work with the FSBUS router. Really great that it's so easy to program.I have a question about adjusting the servo or stepper. I mean, if I connect a servo/stepper to an instrument and I give the min. value and the max. value, what do I have to do to let the instrument run smooth. And how will the instrument find it's "0" point. I know that these are things that I have to find out myself, but I need to know what kind of problems I can expect.Is there somone who has the counters inside instruments working, like the 747-200 has a TAT gauge that's only indicated by a counter.Lot's of q's, but I really hope someone can explain me how to interface a smooth working instrument.Regards,Boy Bruin
