>What the difference between Servo-motors and stepper-motors>and their use in simulation.>>for ex. for a analogue gauge.Very simplified answer: Servo turns roughly 0-180 degrees.Stepper turns freely as many turns you want, one usually has a position sensor to tell the electronics what the position of the stepper is.For gauges that rotate several turns you need a stepper (or SimKits hacked servo) - FSBUS servo controller only does the 0-180 degrees thing.//Tuomas
