August 25, 200223 yr Can use Roger Wilco if I just have a regular computer mike, no headset or anything? Thanks to anyone who can help me.
August 25, 200223 yr I found it works better with the headset type mic, and they can be found cheap.Paulhttp://www.advdigitalmedia.com/sig3.gif
August 25, 200223 yr You can, but you probably don't want to. If you do want to use a desk mic, you will DEFINITELY want to make sure you're wearing headphones rather than having the sound coming out of your desktop speakers, otherwise you are going to get some really nasty feedback.--M

I use a desk mic with good results. To avoid the feedback problem:Double click the volume control icon on your task tray to open Play Control (mixer device)Make sure you have a checkmark in the Mute box or the playback volume is turned all the way down. You need the mic volume up in the Record Control section though.Click Options, properties, Adjust Volume for Recording.
