August 31, 200421 yr Anyone one have access to a KA350 and could provide me with some instrument panel measurments? Richard
August 31, 200421 yr If you do find them .. pls try to get them on this page:http://wiki.varxec.net/King_20Air_20350tnx ;)
August 31, 200421 yr I'm building a sim using a real Queenair fuselage and a real Kingair A90 panel. Any help? If you want I can measure it up 4 u.
September 1, 200421 yr Great! The information I have says the main instrument panel (MIP) is approximately 48 inches wide. How tall is the MIP and how tall is the switch sub panel (has landing, beacon, strobe, etc switches) located directly under the MIP. From the pictures I have seen, the MIP has a curve to the inside of each yoke. I could use a measurement of the MIP and switch sub panels at both the tallest and shortest points. I'm not too concerned about the slope of the MIP where it meets the glare panel. I attached a MSPaint file the has a very basic drawing of what I need. Thanks for the help,Richard
September 2, 200421 yr One more if possible. What is the total distance from floor to top of MIP? I'm guessing somewhere around 40+ inches. Thanks again,Richard
September 2, 200421 yr Search the forum for "rescue card" - I posted months ago that there's a "emergency rescue and evacuation card" for download at www.raytheonaircraft.com - now, it has a full panel graphic. It is in vectors. So if you have a graphics program that can open PDF, you can pull it out from there. It is a bit crude, but gives you the basic shape. Then go to www.mikesflightdeck.com and you find the standard sizes for normal gauges. Measure them up and you know how much you need to scale the graphic to get an idea how it measures up.Also, check this:http://tigert.gimp.org/aviation/vatsim/coc...-stuff/kingair/ :)This is made from the rescue card by drawing over the crude graphic:http://tigert.gimp.org/aviation/vatsim/coc...ayout-small.jpg http://tigert.gimp.org/aviation/vatsim/coc...half-layout.pdfTh
September 5, 200421 yr That's a really nice drawing. Thanks! I did save a copy for future reference, but I sure could use those measurements.Richard

Not 100% accurate, but close enough if you build everything yourself. You may want to look at the closeup of the panels and compare to stuff on airliners.net and decide what systems you want to implement.http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.sear...ir%22%20cockpit//Tuomas
