Project 757 Finland

Featured Replies

HelloTime to get out from closet...As i have posted few pic of my gear and throttle projects. And i saw that they got quite nice respond on this forum. So now we go for little bigger. There is four of us. Project is to build full size 757 cockpit. There almost nothing to see. Except visuals. We got them on place and tested them today. So there is no simply monitors or video projector or nothing like that as visuals, but... Well look from link at end of this post.I know. It looks like nothing is done yet. But still it is fully flyable with mouse, keyboard and CH-yoke. Next steps will be walls, roof and of course panels. And some other minor things. Because two of us has family, one is currently on army and last one has buzy with his girlfriend, and everybody has limited resoures of money. This is Long project. So don't expect updates on every week. Or even every month. We try to build this with time. And try to make it goos as it can be. This is hobby, not work.Photos from: http://mikkila.wabbits.org/image.php?a=fsbus/757- J

Oh no, no English on your website... But I get the ideas with all of the pictures there. Looking good there keep up on your work. By the way.. Wondering if that is a collamated mirror or anything for external visual? If not, what's this... where did you get it? is it expensive.. Again... good work!

Arthur, one of the guy son their team was telling me it is a visual display system out of a decommissioned DC-10 sim.

Yes, no anything text yet. Only photos. Some text and detailed photos will come someday when we get some intrests to write something down. And yes. They are old DC-10 simulator mirrors. And no, i can't tell how and where we get them. Sorry.- J

Additional information can get from http://mikkila.wabbits.org/fsbus/757/English translation of story is coming when our translator get more time...- J
