October 12, 200421 yr Thought I'd post some in progress pictures of my 777 throttle quadrant. Next job is to workout the backlighting of the cover panels. Most of the dimentions and ideas were courtesy ofhttp://projetb777.free.fr/cdes-gaz.htm I used babel fish as a translation tool. http://babelfish.altavista.com/Also dimensions for the handles (Brake, and ALTN Pitch Trim) athttp://www.projectmagenta.com/~lambis777project/ (files are in Corel Draw). For flaps, I altered the plan to use a 12 position Rotary with FSBus.Thank you to those that place their plans and ideas on the web for us to get inspiration from.Any comments or suggestions regarding the cover lettering and backlighting welcome.I did start a thread for suggestions earlier on.ThanksDavidAustralia
October 13, 200421 yr Your throttle quadrant is looking really nice. Would it be possible for you to post the dimensions of the handles and seperator plates? It would save a lot of us wasted time. Milt
October 13, 200421 yr I'll take measurements from the templates I made over the week-end and post them.I could also scan the templates at 1:1 and post them, that way you could just print them off.David
October 18, 200421 yr Here are the templates for the throttle levers ( you have to join them on the mark).I could not pull the quadrant apart to draw a template for the seperater plates but I worked it out by using the dimensions supplied on the websites listed in my first post in this thread.I hope this helps a little.David
