Overhead panel material...

Recommended Posts

Guest JTWhite

This is realllllly a basic question, but one I'd like to ask:Im in the planning stages of my overhead panel for my crj simhttp://jtw737.mysimflight.com(I know the url says 737; bad planning)I built my current configuration out of tempered hardboard. What Im wondering is, those of you who have built overhead panels from scratch, what sort of materials have you used for the faceplates??Im planning on building each component separately, i.e. hydraulic switches, light switches, etc., and wire them up using Phidgets hardwared.I guess I could use tempered hardboard and paint it, but I was wondering if there was another material Ive overlooked during my brainstorming sessions...thanks for any helpJohn Whitenewburgh, in
